South Carolina vs. Auburn – 2014 College Football
Expert college football handicapper, Lee Sterling, breaks down the 2014 South Carolina vs. Auburn college football game.
This is Lee Sterling of ParamountSports.com, and today I’m going to break down a huge game in SEC. It’s the game between the Auburn Tigers and the South Carolina Gamecocks. Now before I breakdown and predict this game, I just want to let you know what’s going on in Paramount Sports. We’ve won 9 out of 12 weeks since the start of the pre-season football, and we’re going to extend the offer that we had last week. It’s eight games just $88, eight games combined on Saturday and Sunday, just $88.
Now on to this game on Saturday between the Auburn Tigers at home, laying 17 1/2 points to the South Carolina Gamecocks. Now South Carolina’s got a nicely balanced offense, but what worries me about South Carolina is that 94th rated defense. They’re allowing 5.3 yards per carry, and they’re banged up on defense. Then on the other side, Auburn’s defense is really improved. Last year, allowing 26 points per game. This year, just 18 points per game and they already have 10 interceptions. Also South Carolina is beat up, up and down the roster. This is not a healthy squad right now, and I don’t think this is a squad playing with whole lot of confidence.
How about this? Gus Malzahn is 8 and 1 against the spread, the last nine games in games being played at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn is primed to bounce back off that loss to Mississippi State and make a run to get into the final four so look out. Auburn, they have the offense, their defense is much better, don’t be surprised if they win this game and it catapults them to possibly getting in to the final four of college football.
I’m going to predict Auburn wins this game covering the 17 1/2 point spread rather comfortably, 45 to 20. Take the Auburn Tigers. You want to get involved with Paramount Sports, visit ParamountSports.com or call 800-400-9741.
